Ingredients For glazed chinese long beans

1/2 lbchinese long beans

2 Tbspbutter

2 Tbspsliced green onions

1 Tbspfreshing minced ginger

1 Tbspminced garlic

1/2 cchicken stock

1 Tbspbrown sugar, firmly packed

1 Tbspsesame oil

2 Tbspsesame seeds

salt and pepper, to taste

red pepper flakes, to taste
How To Make glazed chinese long beans

1In a large pot of boiling water, blanch long beans for 2 minutes until slightly tender. Allow to cool.

2In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add butter. Add green onions, ginger and garlic. Mix together. Add red pepper flakes and long beans. Allow to cook for a few minutes.

3Stir in chicken stock, brown sugar and sesame oil. Season with salt and pepper, to taste, and add sesame seeds, if desired. Mix together.
