Ingredients For german hot slaw

8 slicebacon, cut into small strips

4 Tbspsugar

1 tspsalt
-
1/2 tsppepper
-
1 cwhite vinegar
-
6green onions, thinly sliced
-
1 lghead of cabbage, finely shredded (8 cups)
How To Make german hot slaw

1Fry the bacon till crisp and remove and drain on paper towels.

2Combine sugar, vinegar and salt and stir until dissolved, cooking briefly.

3Pour the hot vinegar mixture over the cabbage.

4Stir in the bacon and top with green onions.
