georgia sweet potato casserole
This is a must have for all family gatherings with us. I always get request for it and always bring home an empty dish! It's not too sweet and the perfect addition to turkey or my favorite, HAM! My mother eats it as a dessert, but I prefer letting it share the spotlight with the main dish!! You cannot go wrong! Try it just once. :o) P.S. This is an easy fix ahead also, just need to pop it in the oven again to heat through and you can also prep it and freeze to bake later. Y'all enjoy!!

Ingredients For georgia sweet potato casserole

1 canyams drained (large can, i use bruce's)

2eggs, beaten

1/4 cmilk
-
1 csugar
-
1 Tbspvanilla

1/2 cbutter (room temp)
- TOPPING:

1 cpacked brown sugar
-
1/3 cflour
-
1 cchopped pecans
-
1/3 cmelted butter
How To Make georgia sweet potato casserole

1EASY! Preheat your oven to 350, this is gonna go quick!! Just mix the first six ingredients together and place in your baking dish.

2For the topping: Mix brown sugar, flour and chopped pecans. Sprinkle on the top of your potato mixture. Drizzle this with your melted butter.

3Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. If you are using a smaller dish it will be thicker and may need a little longer in the oven. I usually prepare mine in a 9X13 pan.
