Ingredients For family favorite creamed corn

  • 1 - 12 oz
    bags, frozen corn- thawed
  • 1 c
    heavy cream
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 tsp
    kosher salt
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    bacon grease- optional
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 2 Tbsp
    flour somewhat heaping
  • 1/4 c
    shredded parmesan cheese
  • 2
    green onions, sliced

How To Make family favorite creamed corn

  • 1
    In a large skillet over medium heat - combine the corn, sugar, salt, pepper, butter, bacon grease and cream.

    Whisk together the milk and flour and stir into the corn mixture. Continue cooking until the mixture is thickened and corn is cooked through.

    Remove from the burner and stir in the Parmesan cheese and green onion. Serve immediately.
