This super simple cucumber tomato salad is going to be on your menu a lot this summer. It's slightly sweet, tangy, and zesty (thanks to Italian dressing). Red onion adds a bit of bite and flavor. Fresh dill makes the salad taste nice and fresh. Summertime in a bowl.

Ingredients For cucumber & tomato salad

  • 3 md
    cucumbers or 6 mini cucumbers
  • 1 pkg
    grape tomatoes, halved (10 oz)
  • 1 md
    red onion, finely diced
  • 6 sprig
    fresh dill
  • 1 c
    zesty Italian salad dressing
  • salt & pepper, to taste

How To Make cucumber & tomato salad

  • Cucumber cut into quarters.

    Quarter or halve the cucumbers depending on the size used. then slice into 1/4" pieces.
  • Tomatoes, onion, and dill added to the bowl.

    Place cucumbers in a bowl and add tomatoes, onion, and dill.
  • Adding in the Italian dressing.

    Toss the cucumbers mixture with the Italian dressing until evenly coated with dressing.
  • Sprinkling with salt and pepper.

    Salt & pepper to taste.
  • Ready to put the Cucumber and Tomato Salad in the fridge.

    Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving. The longer the better!
