Ingredients For corn fritters

3 coil for frying
-
1 call purpose flour
-
1 tspbaking powder
-
1/2 tspsalt (or less to taste)

1-3 tspsugar (based on how sweet you like your fritters)

1egg, beaten lightly
-
1/2 cmilk
-
1 Tbspbutter, melted
-
2 mlears of corn, kernels cut off or a 12 ounce can/bag of frozen corn

honey for drizzling on finished fritters, optional
How To Make corn fritters

1In a deep frying pan, heat a couple Inches of oil to 365.

2In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients until just mixed.

3Drop batter by teaspoon-tablespoonfuls into hot oil. Allow to fry until golden on one side then turn to cook other side. Roughly 2 minutes on each side. Tip: a chopstick makes a great tool for turning the fritters.

4Drain on paper towels and drizzle with a little honey. Serve warm.
