Ingredients For cheesy spinach stromboli

  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1
    10 oz pkg frozen chopped spinach, thawed, squeezed dry
  • 4 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 1 c
    low-fat ricotta cheese
  • 1 c
    reduced-fat, shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 tsp
    dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1
    10 oz pkg refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 c
    pasta sauce, for dipping

How To Make cheesy spinach stromboli

    Heat oven to 425. Lightly spray a cookie sheet w/ olive oil cooking spray. In skillet, over med-high heat, saute garlic and spinach in oil for 5 mins.

    In lg bowl, combine ricotta and mozzarella cheeses, oregano and salt. Add spinach mix, mix well. Unroll dough onto floured surface into a long rectangle.

    Cut rectangle in 1/2 to make 2 rectangles. Spread spinach mix evenly onto both rectangles. Fold each piece of dough over, pinch edges to seal. Place on baking sheet. Bake 10-12 mins, or until golden. Serve w/ pasta sauce.
