Ingredients For ~ carrots in cinnamon sauce ~

  • 1 1/2 lb
    carrots, peeled and sliced ~ i left mine whole, but par cooked for a few minutes in the microwave in a little water
  • 1/4 c
    each - brown sugar & white sugar
  • 1/4 c
    butter, softened
  • 1 tsp
    salt or to taste
  • pepper
    optional
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 c
    boiling water

How To Make ~ carrots in cinnamon sauce ~

  • 1
    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. In a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish, add the carrots. Set aside.. Mix butter, cinnamon, salt, and sugars. Pour boiling water over mixture and stir. Pour over the carrots and bake for 45 min - 1 hour, or until tender. Or you could microwave until tender. Stir, before serving.
