Ingredients For cabbage sidedish

1/2 csliced onion rings

1 clovegarlic, minced

1/2 capple juice

1 cpeeled and grated apples

2 Tbspred wine vinegar

1 1/2 Tbspbrown sugar

1bay leaf
-
1/4 tspblack pepper

4 cshredded red cabbage

2 Tbspchopped fresh parsley
How To Make cabbage sidedish

1Spray a large saucepan with non stick spray. Add onions and garlic. Cook and stir over medium heat until tender, about 5 minutes.

2Dilute apple juice with 1/2 cup water to make 1 cup total. Add to onions and garlic, along with apples, vinegar, brown sugar, bay leaf, and pepper. Stir and bring mixture to a boil. Stir in cabbage. Cover and simmer over medium heat until cabbage is tender crisp, about 12 minutes.

3Discard bay leaf and stir in parsley before serving.
