Ingredients For brown rice with vegetables and teriyaki sauce

  • 1 1/2 c
    water
  • 1/3 c
    teriyaki sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    granulated sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 1/4 c
    bacon bits, optional
  • 2 Tbsp
    frozen concentrated orange juice,undiluted
  • 2 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 2 c
    minute brown rice, uncooked
  • 12 oz
    package chopped broccoli pieces, frozen
  • 1 sm
    onion chopped in medium pieces
  • 1/2 c
    diced bell peppers, any color, frozen
  • to taste
    salt and pepper

How To Make brown rice with vegetables and teriyaki sauce

    In a medium kettle or pot add the water and teriyaki sauce; stir. Bring to a boil. Stir in remaining ingredients. Return to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat Let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with fork..Great with any entrée.
