I just love mushrooms so any time I can try something with them I do. Found this in our news paper and made a change or to. Hope you like them as much as I do.

Ingredients For bobw's marinated mushrooms and peppers.

  • 2 lb
    mushrooms. your choice, i used button mushrooms.
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 2 tsp
    dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt and pepper
  • 1/3 c
    red wine, can use red wine vinegar
  • 1/3 c
    raspberry wine, can use raspberry vinegar
  • 1
    green bell pepper
  • 1
    yellow bell pepper
  • 1
    red bell pepper
  • 2/3 c
    water

How To Make bobw's marinated mushrooms and peppers.

    Cut bell peppers into strips and set aside. In a sauce pan add sugar, dry mustard, wine, and 2/3 cup of water. bring to a boil. then reduce heat to simmer for about 5 minutes..

    In a med-mixing bowl add mushrooms and peppers. Toss to mix.. Now pour mixture from sauce pan over mushrooms and peppers. Place in fridg for 6 to 12 hours to marinate.. Serve with tooth picks.
