Beet pickles, my Grandmother taught me to make these. I just hope my Beet crop does good this year.

Ingredients For beet pickles e.j.j.

  • 4 qt
    sliced beets
  • 1 c
    white vinegar
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    kosher salt
  • 4
    hot peppers

How To Make beet pickles e.j.j.

  • 1
    Heat vinegar and sugar to a boil.
  • 2
    In each prepared canning jar, pack beets tightly add 1 hot pepper to each jar.
  • 3
    Cover beets with vinegar and sugar salution leaving 1/4 inch head space
  • 4
    Process in a boiling water bath canner foe 15 minutes.
