My husband and I we both love artichokes any way it is cooked and this is our favorite recipe. We love to eat it with bread to mop up all that creamy sauce.

Ingredients For artichokes in white sauce

2 Tbspolive oil, extra virgin

1/3 call purpose flour

2 cwater

1 Tbsponion flakes, dehydrated

1chicken bouillon cube
-
1 pkgartichoke hearts, frozen

salt and pepper
How To Make artichokes in white sauce

1Cut the artichokes into bite size pieces and set aside. In a sauce pan over medium heat add the olive oil and the flour. stir till all is incorporated. Gradually add the water while stirring till you have a smooth creamy sauce the consistency of heavy cream.

2Add the bouillon cube and onion flakes and stir till cube is dissolved. Add the artichoke pieces salt and pepper and bring to the boil, then lower the heat to low and let it simmer till the artichokes are tender, about 45 minutes. Serve with biscuits or your favorite bread.
