Ingredients For yellow squash casserole

  • 4 c
    sliced yellow squash
  • 1 /2 c
    chopped onions
  • 35
    buttery round crckers, crushed
  • 1 c
    shredded cheese
  • 2
    eggs beaten
  • 3/4 c
    milk
  • 1/4 c
    butte melted
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • salt & pepper

How To Make yellow squash casserole

  • 1
    Preheat over to 400 Place squash and onions in pan with a small amount of water. Cover and cook for 5 minutes. Place in large bowl and set aside. In a medium bowl, mix cracker crumbs and cheese. Stir half of cracker mixture into cooked squash and onions. Stir 1/4 cup of melted butter, salt and pepper together.Put into a baking dish (9 x 13) Sprinkle remaining crackers mixture over top and dot with 2 tablespoon of butter.
