Ingredients For squash and onion casserole

  • 2 c
    cooked yellow squash
  • 1/4 c
    butter
  • 1/2 c
    finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1
    egg, beaten
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1 c
    cracker crumbs
  • 1 c
    packaged herb stuffing mix, dry
  • 1 c
    grated cheddar cheese

How To Make squash and onion casserole

  • 1
    Mash hot drained cooked squash together with butter.
  • 2
    Blend in other ingredients except for cheese.
  • 3
    Place mixture in a greased casserole dish (I used 8 x 8).
  • 4
    Top with cheese and bake uncovered in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
