Ingredients For old fashioned cornbread dressing

  • 4 1/2 c
    cornbread crumbs
  • 1 pkg
    (16 oz.) herb stuffing mix
  • 2 can
    (10-3/4-oz.ea.) cream of chicken soup, undiluted
  • 3 1/2 c
    low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    chopped celery
  • 4 lg
    eggs
  • 1 Tbsp
    rubbed sage
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter, cut up

How To Make old fashioned cornbread dressing

    Coat a 5-1/2- or 6-quart slow cooker with cooking spray.

    In a large bowl stir all ingredients together, except butter. Pour cornbread mixture into prepared slow cooker and dot with butter.

    Cover and cook on LOW setting for 4 hours, or until cooked through and set.
