My Momma made this for every family gathering I love it! It is so easy and yummy! I thought we had lost the recipe when Momma passed years ago but my sister found it a few yrs back and scanned it for me. Enjoy everyone!

Ingredients For mommas sausage & rice cassarole

  • 1 lb
    hot sausage momma always used jimmy deans
  • 2 c
    uncooked rice
  • 3 can
    beef consume momma used cambells
  • 1 sm
    mushrooms sliced or pieces ( i use a large can because i really like muchrooms :)
  • 1/4 c
    green bell pepper ( i love bells so i use them)
  • 2 md
    onions
  • 1/2 c
    celery

How To Make mommas sausage & rice cassarole

  • 1
    Sauté onions, green pepper, and celery until veggies are tender. Add sausage and brown.

    Add rice, consume, and mushrooms.
  • 3
    Bake uncovers at 350 for about an hr. After its been cooking for about 30 min stir then continue cooking.
