Ingredients For matzo cheese kugel

    onions, chopped fine
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 5
    matzos
  • 8 oz
    cottage cheese
  • 2
    eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt

How To Make matzo cheese kugel

    Preheat oven to 400 F.
  • 2
    Fry onions in butter until brown. Cool.

    Crush matzos and soak in cold water for 2 minutes.

    Drain and press out well.

    Mix onions and matzo with eggs, cheese, and salt.

    Pour mixture into a greased pudding dish. Bake for 30 minutes, or until browned.
