Ingredients For cheesey baked summer yellow squash

  • 1 lg
    yellow squash
  • 1 Tbsp
    extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 lg
    segment garlic
  • Dashes
    oregano, dried
  • Dashes
    cayenne pepper & black pepper
  • 1/3 c
    parmesan cheese plus liberal amt. of grated monterey jack cheese topping
  • 1/3 c
    milk or half n half cream
  • 1/3 c
    bread crumbs, seasoned

How To Make cheesey baked summer yellow squash

    preheat oven 350 degrees F. Oil baking pan or casserole dish. Add diced garlic.

    Slice Squash placing in a scattered fashion fully covering pan. Add milk, Sprinkle seasonings, add shredded cheeses.

    Sprinkle bread crumb topping. Cover with lid, or aluminum foil. bake 1 hr. Remove from oven and serve as a delicious side dish.
