rice pilaf
My family adores this rice recipe. We usually eat it with chicken but it is also good with pork. My favorite part of this recipe is that (after browning the pasta) I dump everything in the rice cooker and let it do all the work!

1 cbasmatti rice

3/4 cvermicelli pasta, broken into small pieces

1/2 tspblack pepper

1/2 tsporiginal mrs. dash with no salt

2 cchicken broth

1/4 cbutter
How To Make rice pilaf

1Melt the butter in a small saucepan. Add the vermicelli and cook on low heat until the pasta begins to take on a brownish color, about 3-5 minutes.

2Add the vermicelli to a rice cooker. Add the rice, pepper, Mrs. Dash, and chicken broth.

3Cook in the rice cooker until rice is done. Fluff the rice and serve hot.
