I love Rice Pilaf as a side dish. It's so flavorful and easy to make. My family loves it and it is requested often.

Ingredients For rice pilaf

2 cbasmati or long grain rice

3 1/2 cchicken broth

1/2of a small onion, finely diced

2 Tbspcelery, diced small

2/3 cred bell pepper, diced small

finely chopped carrots to taste

1/2 tspgarlic powder, or to taste

1bay leaf

4 Tbspbutter
-
1/2 tspsalt, or to taste
How To Make rice pilaf

1Wash rice well and drain. In a large saucepan, heat chicken broth and butter to boiling and add vegetables and spices. Cook until tender.

2Add rice and cook on low for 20 minutes or until rice is fluffy and tender. Add more butter if desired.
