Ingredients For creamy mushroom rice in rice cooker

  • 1/2 cup mushrooms, chopped
  • 1 green pepper chopped
  • 1/2 small red onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 2 cups brown or white rice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup half and half
  • 2 1/2 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon sour cream

How To Make creamy mushroom rice in rice cooker

  • 1
    Place all ingredients in rice cooker, EXCEPT sour cream and half and half.
  • 2
    Cook as directed for white or brown rice.

    When cooking is completed, add half and half and sour cream(whisked together) replace lid and simmer for an additional 10 minutes.

    Stir and enjoy!!!!
