6 mdrusset potatoes, scrubbed and sliced.

1&1/2 stickbutter

2 Tbspsalt

2 Tbsppepper

1 tspgarlic

1 pkg14 oz kraft shredded monterrey jack cheese

8 oz tillamook extra sharp cheddar

8 slicewhite sharp american, i used kroger

8 ozfrench onion dip

1 lgonion, sliced

mushrooms, optional
How To Make three cheese smothered potatoes, iris

1Scrub potatoes and slice. Cut onions into slices.set aside in cold water.

2Heat skillet and add butter, once butter is melted, add potatoes and onions

3Get potato/onion mixture nicely browned. Then add in the salt and pepper, french onion dip, garlic, and cheeses.

4Cover and simmer until cheese is bubbly and melted. Let the potatoes and cheddar thickened slightly before serving.
