Ingredients For sweet potato casserole

  • FOR THE SWEET POTATOES
  • 3 c
    mashed sweet potatoes
  • 1 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1/2 c
    melted butter
  • FOR THE TOPPING
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1/3 c
    softened butter
  • 1 c
    1 cup chopped pecans (optional)

How To Make sweet potato casserole

  • 1
    Combine first 6 ingredients. Pour into a buttered 1 1/2 to 2-quart casserole dish.

    Mix remaining ingredients together and sprinkle over top. Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes, until hot and browned.
