1/4 cchopped green onion or chives

1/4 cbutter

1 1/4 tspsalt

1/8 tsppepper

2 Tbspall purpose flour

2 cmilk

1/2 csour cream

How To Make scalloped potatoes

1To make sauce, in a medium sauce pan, melt butter. Stir in flour, 1 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. Add milk. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Remove from heat.

2Mix a little bit of sauce in with the sour cream, then stir sour cream into the milk mixture until smooth.

3Spray 9x9 glass casserole dish with butter flavored cooking spray or butter the dish.

4Place half of the sliced potatoes in the greased 2 quart casserole. Cover with half of the sauce. Repeat layers.

5Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour.

6Sprinkle with chopped green onion or chives over the top and bake another 15 minutes.
