Ingredients For scalloped potatoes

  • 1/3 c
    flour
  • 1/4 c
    butter, melted
  • 1 tsp
    ground dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp
    white pepper
  • 2 c
    half and half
  • 6 c
    yukon gold potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 2
    onions, julienne
  • 2 c
    sharp white shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 c
    sharp yellow shredded cheddar cheese

How To Make scalloped potatoes

  • 1
    Melt butter in saucepan. Add flour and brown lightly. Add dry mustard, white pepper and half and half. Heat until it starts to thicken.

    Layer potatoes, onion, cheese, and sauce in a 13x9 pan. I do three layers.

    Bake at 350 degrees covered for 45 minutes, uncovered for additionall 15-30 minutes until the top looks a little crusty
