Ingredients For roasted red potatoes

  • 1 1/2 lb
    red potatoes
  • 2 Tbsp
    oil or use 1 t each oil and butter
  • 2 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp
    rosemary, dried
  • 1/2 tsp
    thyme, dried
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper

How To Make roasted red potatoes

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Pull out a 13x9x2 pan.

    Wash the potatoes and remove the eyes. Chop potatoes into 1 inch pieces.

    In a large zip-style baggie, combine the remaining ingredients. Add the potatoes and seal the bag. Shake the bag to coat the potatoes.

    Pour the potatoes into the 13x9x2 pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes. Check after 20 minutes,stirring potatoes to prevent sticking.

    Notes: You can make this in the microwave. Use a microwave safe dish, cover the potatoes with plastic wrap. Be sure to cut a slit to vent the steam. Microwave for 5 minutes. Check and stir the potatoes. Cover and microwave an additional 5 minutes. Let rest 1-2 minutes.
