    shredded peeled potatoes
  • 1
    egg, beaten
  • 3 Tbsp
    all purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp
    grated onion
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    black pepper
  • cooking oil

How To Make raw potato pancakes

    Rinse shredded potatoes in cold water; drain well. Place in a large bowl. Add egg, flour, onion. salt and pepper; mix well. In a skillet, heat 1/4-inch oil over medium heat. Drop batter by 1/3 cupfuls into oil. Flatten to form a pancake. Fry until golden brown on both sides. Drain on paper towels. Makes 6 servings.
