It got this recipe from a Microwave Cooking Class about 20 years ago. I have passed it to many friends and they all love it (even one who "does not cook"). She had her family raving about her potatoes.

Ingredients For microwave oven roasted potatoes

2 Tbspoil or butter or drippings from roast

1/4 tspworcestershire sauce or soy sauce

1/4 tspgarlic powder

1/4 tsppaprika

1 1/4 tspbasil
-
1/4 tsporegano
-
4potatoes
How To Make microwave oven roasted potatoes

1Heat first six ingredients on HIGH POWER for one minute.

2Mix and coat the potatoes in the drippings and seasonings that were heated. Cover with plastic wrap and cook 6 minutes on HIGH POWER.

3Stir inwards (circular) or toss and microwave on HIGH POWER for 6 more minutes.

4Rest for 5 minutes. Serve and enjoy.

5I sometimes add an onion cut up and a clove of garlic finely chopped. I put the first 6 ingredients into a zip lock bag and heat and then add potatoes. Toss and place in pan.
