Ingredients For german potato salad

  • 6-8
    red potatoes, cut into bite sized chunks
  • 1/4 - 1/2 lb
    bacon
  • 1/2
    onion, chopped
  • apple cider vinegar

How To Make german potato salad

  • 1
    In a large pot, boil potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain.
  • 2
    Chop bacon into small pieces. In a large fry pan, fry bacon until crisp. Drain well on paper towels.

    Using the same pan, saute onion in the bacon drippings until translucent.
  • 4
    Add cooked potatoes & bacon to the fry pan. Stir well and heat through.
  • 5
    Drizzle with the vinegar, to taste. Stir well and serve warm.
