cheezy scalloped potatoes
My family LOVES these potatoes! I have never really had a taste for "scalloped potatoes" guess I never cared for the white creamy curdled looking stuff, BUT found these again on FB and these are again...(singing) AMAZINGGGGG!! I made them for Thanksgiving this year and of course there was none left for leftovers.

Ingredients For cheezy scalloped potatoes

4 cthinly sliced potatoes

3 Tbspbutter
-
3 Tbspflour
-
1 1/2 cmilk
-
1 tspsalt
-
2 dashcayenne or red pepper
-
1 cshredded sharp cheddar cheese (kraft)

1/2 cshredded cheddar cheese to sprinkle on top

1/2 tsppaprika
How To Make cheezy scalloped potatoes

1IN A SMALL SAUCE PAN, MELT BUTTER AND BLEND IN FLOUR, LET SET FOR A MINUTE

2ADD THE MILD, STIRRING WITH A WHISK, ADD SALT AND CAYENNE PEPPER.

3COOK SAUCE ON LOW UNTIL SMOOTH AND BOILING, STIRRING OCCASIONALLY WITH A WHISK.

4REDUCE HEAT AND STIR IN CHEESE (1 CUP)

5PUT THE SLICED POTATOES IN A GREASED 1 QUART CASSEROLE DISH.

6POUR THE CHEESE SAUCE OVER THE POTATOES.

7SPRINKLE THE REMAINING CHEESE ON TOP (1/2 CUP) AND PAPRIKA

8BAKE UNCOVERED FOR ABOUT AN HOUR AT 350
