This is an old recipe from one of my grandmother's cookbooks. Adaptions have been made over the years.

Ingredients For cheese potato casserole

3-4 lgpotatoes

4-5 slicebacon, fried crisp

1 lgonion, sliced

8 ozamerican cheese

1/2 cbutter
-
salt and pepper to taste
How To Make cheese potato casserole

1Pare and slice potatoes into a casserole dish; add salt and pepper.

2Crumble bacon over potatoes. Add sliced onions and cheese. Slice butter over the top of the casserole.

3Cover and bake at 400 for 45-60 minutes. Uncover and bake for about 5-10 minutes until the top is golden. Serves 6.
