Ingredients For au gratin potatoes

  • 4 lg
    potatoes, peeled and sliced into 1/4 inch slices.
  • 1/8 c
    milk
  • 1 Tbsp
    parsley
  • 2 Tbsp
    minced onion
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1/8 tsp
    seasoned salt
  • 1 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded

How To Make au gratin potatoes

  • 1
    Place the potatoes in a baking dish. Add onion. Pour milk over them. Sprinkle with parsley and seasoned salt.

    Cover with the cheese. Place butter pieces over the top evenly.

    Cover with foil. Bake at 400 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes.

    Uncover and stir gently. Return to oven and bake another 5 minutes.
