Ingredients For pasta kugel

  • 12 oz
    vermicelli or fine noodles, cooked and drained and broken in half
  • 1 pkg
    (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 c
    butter, melted
  • 4
    eggs, beaten
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1/2 c
    golden raisins (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp
    cinnamon

How To Make pasta kugel

  • 1
    Cream cheese and butter, mixing until well blended.
  • 2
    Blend in eggs, sour cream, sugar, vanilla and salt.

    Add cooked pasta and raisins. Mix well.

    Pour mixture into a 2 1/2 quart baking dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon.

    Bake at 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
