Ingredients For passover apple kugel

3/4 ccake meal

3/4 csugar

1 tspsalt

1-1/2 cwater

4large apples, pared and sliced

1 Tbsplemon juice

4eggs, room temperature, separated

How To Make passover apple kugel

1Toss apples gently with the 1 tbsp. lemon juice. Combine cake meal, sugar and salt; set aside.

2Separate eggs. Mix yolks, water, and oil until frothy. Add the combined dry ingredients and sliced apples. Beat the egg whites until stiff. Fold egg whites into apple mixture.

3Pour into a greased 9 inch square baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove from oven and allow to stand 10 minutes before serving.
