Tomato gardeners always have a load of little greenies at the end of the season. This is my favorite use for green tomatoes. It's addictive!

Ingredients For green tomato relish

2 qtchopped green tomato

3/4 csalt

1 tsppepper

1 1/2 tspdry mustard

1 1/2 tspcinnamon

1chopped onion

1/2 tspallspice
-
1 1/2 tspground cloves
-
1/4 cwhole mustard seed

1 qtcider vinegar
-
2red or green peppers, sliced
How To Make green tomato relish

1Mix tomatoes and salt; Cover, let stand 24 hours; drain.

2Add remaining ingredients, bring to boil, cook 15 minutes.

3Pack in hot sterilized jars; seal.
