green tomato relish
Tomato gardeners always have a load of little greenies at the end of the season. This is my favorite use for green tomatoes. It's addictive!

Ingredients
- 2 quarts chopped green tomato
- 3/4 cup salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 - chopped onion
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cloves
- 1/4 cup whole mustard seed
- 1 quart cider vinegar
- 2 - red or green peppers, sliced
How To Make green tomato relish

Step 1Mix tomatoes and salt; Cover, let stand 24 hours; drain.

Step 2Add remaining ingredients, bring to boil, cook 15 minutes.

Step 3Pack in hot sterilized jars; seal.
