Ingredients For apple noodle kugel

  • 1/2 lb
    cooked medium noodles
  • 3
    eggs, separated
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • 3
    apples, sliced or chopped
  • 1/4 c
    golden raisins (optional)
  • 2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1/2 c
    chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1/4 c
    unsweetened applesauce (optional)
  • TOPPING
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 c
    chopped nuts (optional)

How To Make apple noodle kugel

  • 1
    Mix melted butter with cooked noodles.
  • 2
    Add egg yolks, sugar, and other ingredients and mix well.

    Beat egg whites stiff and fold into mixture. Pour into a greased 2 quart baking dish. Sprinkle on top with a cinnamon-sugar mixture, if desired. Topping: Mix ingredients together.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until browned. Serve hot.
