Mom wanted a box of oranges, but they weren't sweet enough for her so she just left them sitting on the table. I had a bag of cranberries I wanted to try my hand at making and decided 'Why waste the oranges?' I also enjoy experimenting with seasonings, so thought I would see how cardamom tasted in this sauce - the family raved about it

Ingredients For cranberry n cuties

1 cup cwater

1/3 cwater

3/4 csugar

1 pkgcranberries, fresh

5cuties small oranges

1/2 tspcardamom
How To Make cranberry n cuties

1Pour water and sugar into medium pot. Bring to boil

2Pour rinsed cranberries into boiling water, they should start 'popping' Let simmer for 5 minutes.

3Add in chopped cuties sections, stir and continue slow simmer for a few more minutes

4Sprinkle with 1/2 tsp of cardamom and serve warm or cooled off, excellent both ways
