Ingredients For yellow squash casserole

3 mdyellow squash
-
1 mdonion, chopped

1/2 cfine bread crumbs

1/3 ccheddar cheese, shredded
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
4 Tbspbutter, divided

1egg beaten or egg substitute
How To Make yellow squash casserole

1Cook squash and onion in small amount of salted water until tender, Drain. Add bread crumbs [save one spoonful for top} Add cheese, egg,salt, and 2T. butter. Spoon into greased casserole. Top with remaining bread crumbs and dot with 2T of butter. Bake in 350 degrees for 25 minutes
