Ingredients For wonderful squash casserole

  • 2 lb
    yellow squash, peeled and seeded and then finely chopped
  • 1 box
    stove to stuffing mix ( i use chicken flavored.)
  • 1 lg
    onion, finely chopped
  • 1
    carrot,peeled and finely chopped
  • 1 can
    campbells cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 pt
    sour cream
  • 1
    green pepper, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1 stick
    butter, melted

How To Make wonderful squash casserole

    Cook chopped squash and onion together in water until tender. Drain off water. Poir box of stuffing in pan. Melt one stick of butter and pir over stuffing. Mix and let set until dressing is soft. Mix squash and onion with stuffing mix. Next mix in the chopped carrot and bell pepper. Thne pour in cream of chicken soup and sour cream. Mix all ingredients well,and pour into a buttered, non stick pan. Bake at 400 degrees for one hour.
