This has been on my Thanksgiving Table for years! It should be dessert! One year I told my family I wasn't going to make it..there was almost a mutiny!

Ingredients For sweet potato casserole

3 csweet potatoes, whole canned mashed

2 stickbutter softened

1 ccanned evaporated milk
-
1 cwhite sugar

2eggs
-
1/2 tspcinnamon
-
1 tspvanilla extract
-
1 ccorn flakes crushed
-
1/2 cpecans crushed

1/2 clight brown sugar
How To Make sweet potato casserole

1Mix mashed sweet potatotes 3/4 stick softened butter, Evaporated Milk, White Sugar, eggs, cinnamon & vanilla with an electric mixer. Put in casserole dish & bakea t 425 degrees for 15 minutes.

2Topping: Melt 3/4 stick of butter, mix with cornflakes, pecans & brown sugar. Put on top of casserole. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 more minutes OR when a knife or toothpick is inserted comes out clean.
