A friend brought this to pitch in for Thanksgiving dinner a few years ago and we fell in love with it. I'm not a fan of coconut but loved this! So easy to make, too.

Ingredients For squash praline

  • 3 c
    frozen winter squash (thawed)
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    evaporated milk
  • 1/4 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1/2 c
    butter
  • 1 c
    coconut
  • TOPPING:
  • 1 c
    pecan pieces
  • 1 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    butter
  • 1/2 c
    flour

How To Make squash praline

  • 1
    Combine first 7 ingredients and spoon into 9 x 13 baking dish.

    Combine topping ingredients and spread over squash mixture as evenly as possible.

    Bake at 300 degrees for 25-40 mins until brown.
