This is my momma's squash casserole. I know of no one who makes it quite like she does. My favorite is when she adds the crumbled pork sausage. Makes my mouth water just thinkin' about it.

Ingredients For squash casserole

  • 2 can
    squash, drained
  • 1
    onion, small, chopped
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 pkg
    pepperidge farm herb stuffing (8 oz)
  • 1 stick
    butter, melted
  • 8 oz
    sour cream
  • 1 lb
    pork sausage, cooked, crumbled (optional)

How To Make squash casserole

  • 1
    Mix all of the ingredients together.

    Pour into a buttered casserole dish.
  • 3
    Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
