Ingredients For southern creamed corn casserole

  • 15-16 oz
    can whole kernel corn
  • Half c
    whole milk or half & half
  • 29-30 oz
    cream-style corn
  • 1/4 c
    plain white sugar
  • 5 lg
    eggs
  • 1/3 c
    slightly cooled melted butter
  • 2 tsp
    slap ya momma low salt seasoning or other cajun ap seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp
    white or black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 c
    corn starch

How To Make southern creamed corn casserole

  • 1
    Whisk eggs lightly then combine all the ingredients in a large bowl.

    If using canned corn please drain the whole corn before adding it into the bowl with the other ingredients.

    Pour into a greased 2 quart casserole dish.

    Bake at 400 degrees F for 1 hour or until golden brown on top and firm in the center
