Broccoli was not a favorite vegetable for me. I had tried all kinds of recipes. Then I started mixing ingredients that suited my taste & came up with this recipe, now this is the one I make. I also like broccoli in salads now too.

Ingredients For my very favorite broccoli casserole

  • 1 1/2 lb
    broccoli or 2---10 oz. pkg. of frozen
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 c
    milk
  • 3/4 c
    shredded cheese (cheddar)
  • 1 c
    bisquick
  • 1/4 c
    margarine (melted)

How To Make my very favorite broccoli casserole

  • 1
    Cook Broccoli in very little of water, mostly steam. Drain and chop. Put in a buttered 1 1/2 qt. casserole dish.

    Beat soup & milk together. Pour over broccoli.

    Sprinkle cheese over mixture.
  • 4
    Mix butter & bisquick together until crumbly. Sprinkle over cheese.

    Bake @ 400 degrees--20 mins. or until medium brown.
