When you go picnicing in my family it is just not a picnic without Mom's Picnic Bean's, potato salad or macaroni salad!!

Ingredients For mom's picnic beans - ranch style

  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 pkg
    dry onion soup mix
  • 2 can
    1 pound cans baked beans in tomato sauce
  • 1 lb
    can dark red kidney beans
  • 1 c
    catsup
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 2 Tbsp
    prepared yellow mustard
  • 2 tsp
    cidar vinegar

How To Make mom's picnic beans - ranch style

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

    In large skillet, melt butter and brown meat. Stir in, soup mix, beans, catsup, water, mustard, and vinegar.

    Pour bean mixture into a prepared (non stick spray) 2 1/2 quart casserole dish. Bake at 400 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
