Whats not to like about a sweet corn pudding? There are many variations to this dish and here is mine. I am sure someone out there may make it the same way I don't lay claims to the recipe just claims to how I make my family favorite for special occasions and holiday meals. I made mine with garden fresh sweet corn we grew and cut off the cobb

Ingredients For jamie's corn pudding

  • 3 c
    sweet corn removed from the cobb
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 can
    evaporated milk
  • 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1/4 tsp
    nutmeg
  • salt and pepper to taste

How To Make jamie's corn pudding

  • 1
    Let butter be at room temperture add all the ingredients in large mixing bowl. With a hand mixer or stand mixer blend till flour is blended in well to the mixture.

    Pour into a 9x13 casserole dish and bake in a 350 oven about 45 minutes. Check at 45 min. see if set and no longer liquid if needed let cook another 5 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve hot.
