This is a tasty recipe from one of my Pioneer Cookbooks. Easy and so good!

Ingredients For hominy casserole

  • 2 can
    hominy
  • 2
    4 oz. cans chopped green chilies
  • 4 Tbsp
    butter
  • 10 Tbsp
    sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 c
    heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 c
    shredded monterey jack cheese

How To Make hominy casserole

  • 1
    Drain and rinse hominy. Butter a 3-qt. casserole dish. Alternate hominy and chilies, dotting each layer with butter, sour cream, and salt; finishing with hominy and butter. Add cream. Top with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 - 30 minutes. YUMMY!!
