Simple and easy recipe to make. Definite crowd pleaser. You can substitute the type of noodle you use (I've used penne, rotini, shells) and also the type of shredded cheese if you wish (although a mixed blend works best).

Ingredients For homemade mac 'n cheese

  • 1 1/2 lb
    elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 box
    velveeta cheese
  • 2 c
    milk
  • 1 pkg
    mixed blend shredded cheese
  • 1 tsp
    black pepper

How To Make homemade mac 'n cheese

    Boil macaroni (10-15 minutes). Preheat oven to 350.

    Cut Velveeta cheese into cubes. Combine with milk & pepper.

    Heat on medium in a saucepan. Stir frequently until melted.

    In 9x14 baking dish, pour macaroni and mixture of melted cheese. Top with mixed blend shredded cheese.

    Place in oven. Bake until cheese is melted (typically for around 20-25 minutes). Let stand and serve.
