My mom made this every Thanksgiving and soon we were having it every holiday (Christmas and Easter too). I have never found anyone who has not liked this reciped.

Ingredients For holiday corn casserole

  • 2 can
    eight ounce corn
  • 1 c
    sour cream (fat free does not work)
  • 2 Tbsp
    flour
  • 6 slice
    bacon
  • 4 Tbsp
    chopped onion

How To Make holiday corn casserole

  • 1
    Fry the bacon to desired state and crumble
  • 2
    Keep the bacon grease and cook onion in the bacon grease until soft, blend in the flour
  • 3
    Add sour cream gradually and stir until smooth, bring to a boil and add the corn
  • 4
    Cook till heated through and fold in bacon
  • 5
    Pour in baking dish and Bake at 350 for 30 – 45 minutes or until bubbly Top with parsley (optional)
